KABL ("we," "our," or "us") is a free, curated linear TV experience for YouTube content. There are no accounts and nothing to sign up for. This policy describes the little data we do handle and why.
Viewing. We do not track:
Your settings (such as which channel groups to show) are stored only in your own browser and never sent to us.
Feedback you send. If you use the Feedback form, or KABL automatically reports a video that won't play, we receive: the channel and video involved, your browser and screen size, your timezone and language setting, and your approximate country (determined by our hosting provider from your connection — we never see or store your IP address). If you choose to type a message or an email address, we receive those too. Feedback is delivered to a private Discord channel that only we can read.
Error reports. When the app crashes, we receive a technical error report (the error message, browser type, and page). These reports are not linked to you.
Anonymous visit statistics. We count page visits with Plausible Analytics, which uses no cookies and collects no personal data.
We do not sell your data, and we do not sell advertising.
We use the following services to operate KABL:
KABL itself sets no cookies. The embedded YouTube player is provided by Google and may set its own cookies or similar storage when it loads — see Google's privacy policy.
Feedback messages are kept only as long as they are useful for fixing the issue they describe. You can ask us to delete any feedback you sent at any time, and we will do so within 7 days.
Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA (California), or other privacy laws, including the right to access or delete data about you. Since KABL has no accounts, the only data we could hold about you is feedback you sent. To make a request, contact us at lastgenlabs@gmail.com.
